I am currently in the final year of studying for a BSc Audio and Music Technology at the University of the West of England in Bristol.

I have always been excited by technical challenges and this coupled with my passion for music technology has gradually developed into an aspiration to work in sound and lighting technology and events.

I have had already had some previous work experience outside of form al education:

Since my initial work experience placement at “GWR FM” my local commercial radio station in October 2004 I have developed a passion for working in the technical side of broadcasting including studio setup and engineering, audio processing, editing and production and have been involved with temporary studio setups, technical operation, pre-recording sessions and editing.

I also have a particular interest in large events and temporary equipment installations. For the last five years I have been working with a local lighting hire company on events including: Outdoor Shakespeare, Corporate parties/functions, the Swindon Old Town Bowl summer concert series and the officers' balls at both RAF Lyneham and RAF Brize Norton. I have additional voluntary work Expirience with the UWE Centre for Performing arts doing Set Building, Lighting and Sound and with Bristol Light Opera Club as a radio mic technician.

I have been involved in the event management of the Swindon Half Marathon and The North Bristol Noise. At Swindon I have had a number of different roles that include managing the radio communications system, lia ising with the chip timing company and Signage around the race route. At the Noise I was responsible for the PA systems at the Family Fun Afternoons for 2008 and I was a community project co-ordinator for 2009.

I am a very energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys new challenges and opportunities; I will be able to provide you with professional, reliable and friendly service; whatever the event.
