Here's what I'm currently doing!

• Making harder levels for the earlier K-Pop Packs (specially the ones who just had levels below 4)
• Polishing the new site visuals. I hope to deliver it together with K-Pop Pack 5.
• Editing K-Pop Pack 5 songs to fit StepMania standard sizes, and attempting some patterns.

Also, there are two new features for the site, prior to Step Portal v2.0:

• Polls - I'll start doing these to better understand who plays my steps.
• Donations - if you enjoy my steps, why not donate? Any value (even cents!) will be accepted as a gratitude token :)

I expect (no warranties assured :P) to release at least part of what I'm doing until the end of the month.

Wow, Step Portal has got lots of views and downloads since it's origins! :D
The statistics are as follows:

• K-Pop Pack 1-2-3 Combo was downloaded 2'000 times!
• K-Pop Packs 1, 2 and 3 were downloaded 1'050, 1'050, 715 times respectively.
• Step Packs 2007 Heavy/Light were downloaded 290 and 430 times respectively.
• Step Portal was visited 9'500 times, counting 16'800 page views!

As a "thank you", I'd like to give everyone a gift: for the K-Pop Step Pack 5, I'll choose some songs from the Disqus comments section and make steps for them! Edit (may 2nd): requests ended! Thank you everyone!

Say a K-Pop song which you'd like to dance, and if you're lucky, it will appear on K-Pop Step Pack 5!

I just can't make this site work well on IE8.

Tried to do some fixes, but there are still some ugly things. Sorry IE8 users, I tried my best :(

After many delays, the K-Pop Pack 4 is finally available to download!

Also, this is my first K-Pop Pack featuring harder level songs (level 7 and 8).
Of course, easier levels are still available for everyone and will always be.

February has been a tough month for Step Portal.

Although I'm working at the K-Pop Pack 4 and on the site redesign (improvements + IE8 compatibility), I've got some busy days, a few health issues and little time to spend on this site and project.

I wanted to upload the next pack today, but in order to keep the project quality, it will take a little more to finish it.

Current progress of the next pack:

• Song editions: 100% (some old songs were badly cut, so I re-cut them).
• Backgrounds & banners: 40% (must complement some, must do some others)
• Steps: 40% (some are already OK, but others aren't totally polished yet and there are many missing)
• Total progress: 61% (weighted average: 35% song cuts / 15% bgs / 50% steps)

I will try to focus a little on the steps and less on the site improvements and side projects the next days, but I can't promise any release date for the next pack. Hopefully, they'll be available on the first half of March.

Sheesh! I just discovered that this site renders badly on Internet Explorer 8 (or any previous version)! D:
According to Google Analytics, 10% of users who access this site use IE8 or less. My apologizes. Expect a fix soon.

Known problems:

• All the preview videos cannot be seen (major issue).
• Some elements appear out of flow (icons).
• Comments appear misplaced when changing site sections. You can comment at this link.

I'll try to fix these problems ASAP.
Alternatively, you can get any of these browsers below, in which Step Portal, as many other sites, display better:

If you downloaded K-Pop Pack 2 before jan 19th, there is a big fix on it:

• There were two wrong banners for songs Mirotic and Sorry Sorry (only on Stepmania 5)
• Sixth Sense was shortened to 1:59, it was 2:14 before.

I apologize for the errors and uploaded the fix for donwload on Song & Steps page.
Just re-download the pack, now named as "Andy_K-Pop_Pack_2_01.smzip", and install. It'll fix the errors.

It seems FileDen, the server I used to host my Step Packs, was hacked.
I'll be removing the download links for them.

While I'm still working on more Song Packs, I'll be doing small changes to the site layout.
By now, I added some icons, changed others, changed the default site font and the spacing on this News page.
Expect the inclusion of a Main page next.

Redesigned the site layout, since I'm going to start a new batch of uploads!
These later years, I've been working on K-Pop songs, made for dance-pad play.
This means that these newer steps are made focused on performance and fun instead of hard keyboard steps.

The first pack I'm releasing is the K-Pop Pack 1, with 6 songs:

• The "white-bar" in the middle is solid (not splitted)
• Holds are hollow-white with black borders
• Curved design, uses anti-aliased borders
• Smoother animation (8 frames per beat, instead of 4)
• Glows white when hit, glowing more on marvelous and less on greats
• Glows lasts longer than the default noteskin glow
• Hold hit glow is "hollow", showing the arrow "filling" when hit
• Vivid: same cycling colors of the default Noteskin
• Note: colors are brighter than default ones
