Where do you get your inspirations?

I get my inspirations from other designers and looking at their work. I'm also currently interested in environmental/green design. So I try to incorporate some element of nature or transparency to my designs.

I'm using your Springfield theme here on Tumblr and I think it's brilliant. But how do you add a header graphic? I've got one I want to use, but I don't know how to code it. Could you help me out please?

All you need to do is search the theme code for {Title} and replace that with an IMG tag.

What is good design?

Wow. Wow. What a loaded question. I think a good design should incorporate your personal touch while still retaining the basic elements of what makes a design rather than art. I'm not saying that design and art are two different things, but design is more specific. Simplify.

Does your Tumblr theme, Transparent Theme support Disqus comments? If so, where should I put them to get them to work?

I haven't gotten around to intergrate that in yet, BUT I will do that really soon.

Is your font Cambria? If so, you’re the only other person I know that uses it. It’s a vert charismatic font, in my opinion.

Yes. The font is Cambria. It’s my favorite serif typeface. I have others that come in close but Cambria is the winner.

Do you make iPhone wallpapers?

No. I don’t make wallpapers, but it isn’t hard to. All you need is an image that’s scaled/cropped to 320px x 480px.

The ones that are mine do not have link-backs… because there’s not where to link it back to. It’s also tagged in my portfolio.

Do you tend to find complex things or simpler things more beautiful?

Complex things reduced to the simplest idea is beautiful. I paraphrased Ockham’s Razor

How do you make one of these question boxes?

Sign up on Formspring (like most people) or Wufoo (like me). I signed up with Formspring, but the navigation in the website SUCKED and was really ill-designed. Wufoo is colorful and easier to build.

Where is you learn your website design work?

Whoa, I think you’re asking where I learned how to design websites yeah? If that’s the question than I learned it myself just from practicing. No textbook, no class at school. Although this summer I learned how to use Dreamweaver, but that’s just for the application, not coding.

Do you design customised Tumblr pages for people? Would you do one for me?

Yes I do, but right now I’m booked. I have to be able to balance work, prepping for school, and family.

Which is the best webpage 2.0 background image?

I don’t know. Are you giving me choices or do I have to look at every webpage out there and compare background images? I personally love my own because I like brown and a nature-esque theme.

What do you use to make your themes?

Notepad/TextEdit but… I’m getting good with Dreamweaver, but it’s still slower if I use the program.
