Queridos asistentes a la Conferencia Rails '09. Ponentes, organizadores también. Madrileños, españoles, extranjeros, amiguetes todos:
El sector más canalla de la concurrencia se ha constituído en contraorganización, ha revisado concienzudamente el programa, y ha decidido en asamblea y por unanimidad: que muy bien todo, pero que falta fiesta. Esta sesuda reflexión, que perfectamente podría quedar aquí, milagrosamente ha cristalizado en la presente convocatoria:
El día: El miércoles 25 de noviembre, es decir, el primer día de la conferencia (el de los talleres).
La hora: Las 22:00. El programa oficial termina a las 19:30 así que no hay excusa. Se recomienda acudir cenado porque habrá mucha bebida y muy poca comida. No obstante, la zona está plagada de sitios estupendos para tapear y/o cenar.
El asunto: Pues tendremos un montón de rubystas, la oportunidad de empezar a vernos las caras y conocernos los que no nos conozcamos y/o no hayan podido asistir a los talleres, bebidas a precios todo lo populares que pueden ser en la capi, música (tanto en disco como en directo) y miniconferencias en el lado macarra del rubyismo. Por cierto, si te apetece participar, eres más que bienvenido porque la fiesta la hacemos todos. Si quieres tocar alguna canción, o contarnos algo interesante (que se pueda contar en 5-10 minutos), mándanos un email a untitledconference@gmail.com y quedarás automáticamente incluido en el programa. Aún no podemos asegurar que vaya a haber un proyector, pero ¿quién lo quiere pudiendo pegar voces? ;-) Eso sí, si vas a tocar, ¡no olvides tu instrumento!
El lugar: “4 Latas”. Está en la calle La Palma nº 68 (Madrid), a las afueras de Malasaña. Hay varias estaciones de Metro que pillan muy cerca: Plaza de España, Noviciado, San Bernardo, Bilbao o Tribunal.

Dear Conferencia Rails '09 attendees. Presenters, as well as organizers. Madrilenians, spaniards, foreigners, friends:
The more unsavoury part of the audience has convened in impudence, meticulously reviewed the conference program, and, in its totality, unanimously decided that: it's all well and nice, but there is a distinct lack of frolicking involved. This deep and profound observation, instead of staying just that, an observation, miraculously transformed itself to the following call for action:
The day: Wednesday the 25th of November, that is, the first day of the conference (the workshop day)
The time: 22:00. The official conference sessions finish at 19:30 so there can be no excuses. We recommended that you arrive with greasy food in your stomach already because there will be lots of drinking but very little eating. Worry not for the area is practically infested with restaurants and tapas bars that start serving food around 20:30
The plan: Well, with a metric ton of ruby talent around, the opportunity to meet those we haven't met yet or those that haven't come to the workshops, drinks at prices as popular as they can be in the capital, music (live as well as digitaly reproduced) and micro-presentations from the 'edgier' inhabitants of the ruby world. By the way, if you fancy participating, you are more than welcome. If you want to play a song, or give a short (5-10 minute) talk, send us an email at untitledconference@gmail.com and you will be automatically accepted in the schedule. We can't confirm nor deny that there will be a projector, but who needs it when shouting loudly is the norm in this country? And for those who want to play something, bring your instrument along.
