Tamkeen & AIESEC global internship programme
Tamkeen has signed an agreement with AIESEC in Bahrain to train 45 Bahraini graduates over three years. This global Internships program will provide a unique opportunity for 15 young fresh male and female graduates each year to be trained in major companies and institutions worldwide for a for a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of one year. Through this program Tamkeen aims at enhancing competitiveness among Bahraini graduates and give them a chance to intern abroad. This will increase their ability to improve the local labor market through the expertise gained on an international level.
Aim of the programme
To increase the competitiveness of Bahraini students and recent university graduates by giving them a chance to go work abroad for a period of 6 months to a year. This way when they come back the would have a unique edge in the Bahraini market with their international experience. With the support of Tamkeen AIESEC Bahrain would be able to raise internships for these participants in other AIESEC countries such as the United States, India, China, Singapore, Hong Kong , Switzerland, United Kingdom. The participants would get a chance to work in the fields of marketing, accountancy, tourism, hospitality, engineering, logistics and IT. The target number of exchanges for the program is 15 Bahraini’s per year for a period of three years.

About the programme

Who can apply?
- Recent Graduates
- B.Sc or Masters Degree holders
- Bahraini Citizens
- Aged 18 – 30
-Excellent Command of English
-Pass AIESEC Assessment and Matchability
An amount of 100 BD will be charged to all applicants upon signing the contract and will be refunded if the applicant has completed all stages of the program. In case the applicant decides to drop out after being shortlisted, the amount will not be refunded.
Applicants must attend all sessions that they have been requested to come to in order to avoid disqualification.
