Making Of

I started with a few sketches from pictures I took in the cove:

I then started drawing the project using the drawings as reference.

Comments

This was one of my favorite projects to do. There was flexibility for us to do anything we wanted and I really liked thinking up ideas of what to do for it. I had also bought some oil pastels near the end of the year, and this ended up being the first thing I'd ever drawn with them. I really enjoyed using them, especially because they can smudge well, but don't brush off inadvertently like chalk pastels.
