Since Candice generally uses really bright colors, I tried to do the same for her portrait. I used only the paint brush tool, and really saturated colors. I did not use any white except for in the eyes, and that includes mixing with other colors, so a normal pink or peach flesh tone was not achievable. I also tried not to use the undo feature, trying to fix by hand instead, but slipped a few times because it's just second nature on the computer. The video below documents the process.

I found it really interesting to use light and dark colors to try and replace a lot of the colors that are generally mixed with white, such as pink, or peach. I also had the compulsive need to try and blend colors, which I wish I would have done less of, looking back. Once it was all said and done, however, I think it has a really interesting look.
