Hold On AND Let Go:

Thriving in Uncertain Times at Work

Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

In the wake of the economic downturn, many of us now face greater uncertainty at work. We worry about job security, where we'll find clients and/or income, or what will happen if we must embark on something new. Fear of the unknown and worries about what if? can cause great stress. How can we respond to uncertainty in ways that help us cope and thrive? In this session, we will acknowledge the challenge of such uncertainty and seek to embrace it. We will discuss practical ways to hold on to a healthy sense of self and build inner strength. We'll also explore how to let go of worries and limiting attitudes. With a focus on possibilities for growth, we'll look for a balance between stability and flexibility so we can be both grounded and adaptable while we prepare for change.

I really loved everything. The facilitator was very laid back and encouraging. The materials were very thorough for a one hour workshop and I gained many insights from the other participants as well.  Workshop Participant
