Wine Club
Hi all Just a quick reminder that next Tuesday, 13th December, will be our last session before Christmas. We’ll not be meeting again until next year (!), well actually Tuesday 3rd January 2012.
In keeping with our usual tradition, next Tuesday’s session will include seasonal refreshments and the opportunity to prepare for next year’s Christmas card. We will be setting up a number of still lifes and shall be grateful if members will contribute to the arrangements, bringing along any objects associated with Christmas – eg. satsumas, candles, crackers, bottles, nativity figures, wrapped gifts, etc. etc. etc. Our suggested materials are pastels, but please feel free to use whatever medium might achieve the desired effect within one evening.
We have lots planned for the new year and will let you have an up-to-date diary of events soon. In the meantime if you can’t make it to next week’s session, we wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.

P.S. If you can’t bear to be away from Weston until January, we are hosting a New Year’s Eve Supper at the WCP on New Year’s Eve. A simple two course supper with wine (including an apperitif), a light-hearted quizz and for those who want to see the New Year in with us, there will be a showing of a vintage Christmas TV ‘Special’. Tickets cost £10 each and if you would like one please ring or email me as soon as possible.
