ESL Help 
Dave’s ESL café is one of the most comprehensive ESL websites on the Internet.  It is primarily geared at teaching English overseas, but many of the same principles apply at home.

Project Gutenberg 
This site contains a hundreds of classic literary works.  Many audio books are also available.  This could be a useful tool for students struggling with the traditional book format. 

Grammar Help 	 
This is a nice resource for students struggling with grammar in the context of writing.

Young Adult Library Services Association    
This site contains various young adult book lists; it also has lists featuring the top YA books for each year.

Timeline of American Literature 
This site contains a brief, but concise timeline of American literature.
