Villa Musica’s Art and
Music Society
In November of last year
we celebrated an important milestone in Villa Musica's
history, our 5th Birthday!!!! To celebrate this important event we promoted
a new fund-raising initiative. The Villa Musica Art and Music Society
celebrated our new Chisholm-Chait Recital Studio
refurbishment and the meeting of two complimentary art forms. San Diego
muralist Sarah Loffler worked on the recital "stage drop" and it
turned out beautifully. A stage and lighting design were completed and the
"gallery space" was opened.
Not only have our society members helped to underwrite our new overhead as we
transition through the first year in our new home, but we also gather every 2
months for a recital (given by Villa Musica's
incredible faculty) and a short lecture by the visual "artist in
residence". We pair these musical/visual events with wine tastings from
California wineries and local gourmet food vendors. Come celebrate our new
facility in style!
Membership to this society is limited to 75 people. We already have 10 people
signed up so please do not delay. Membership is $25 per month for individuals
($300 per year) and $42 for couples ($500). Minimum membership duration is 12
months from the sign up date. All membership dues can be paid monthly,
quarterly or in one lump sum. Membership fees are tax deductible.
In addition to your exclusive invitation to the "Society" recital
events - you will also receive many more benefits. We are offering a 10% on all
workshops and group lessons at Villa Musica for the duration of the
membership.
