Quorn Slot Car Club - The Club
Quorn Slot Car Club have been racing 1:32 scale slot cars around Leicestershire since 1984. We are a friendly club who meet up every Tuesday evening from 8:00pm.
We are a friendly and enjoyable group of people and we are always willing to help the new comers with their car preparation and racing technique. Any one is welcome at any age, slot car racing isn't just for kids.
Most people have raced on Scalextric track before, but our track is a bespoke 100ft six lane wooden track. Magnets don't work with the copper rails, so the skill required and enjoyment had are both higher. The race nights are run using a computerised system called Slotmaster, which enables us to time laps to 0.001 seconds accuracy.

In 2000 we moved to our current location, which is The Station pub, Derby Road (A6), Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 5AG.

Race Night
Seniors start at 8:00pm every Tuesday night, with racing aiming to start for 8:30pm.
Juniors
A section of the club is run for children under 16. They race on a Tuesday evening, running from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. It is very relaxed racing with the emphasis on FUN. Recently added Night racing to the schedule, how fast can you go in the dark?
