About Me

My name is Eugene Pettit and I am a Web Designer from Athlone, Co. Roscommon.

I am currently based in Galway City where I am studying for a Masters Degree in Electronic Commerce at NUIG.

In June 2012, I will be starting a 12 Month placement in Ericsson (Athlone) as a Web Designer.

From 2007 to 2011 I studied in GMIT where I obtained an Ordinary Degree in Business Computing & Digital Media and an Honours Degree in Information Technology for Business.

During this time I developed a huge interest in Web Design. I started using Joomla! in 2009 and I continue to use it as my main outlet for designing websites. I also excelled at Adobe Photoshop and have designed Artwork and Promotional Posters for a number of Clubs and Businesses in Ireland and Abroad.

Purpose of my Portfolio

I have created an Online Portfolio in order to showcase my work with the hope of future employment.
Because I am building up a portfolio, my work is guarenteed to be of a high quality and a low cost.

Malones Bar is a very popular Irish bar located in Edinburgh, Scotland. The website was developed using Joomla!. The website features social media links, contact forms, map locators and a testimonial page. It also features a number of galleries for their food menus and also for events and live music. I also provide all promotional posters to the Bar.

Blue Ribbon Wedding Centre

Blue Ribbon Wedding Centre is located in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. The website was developed using Joomla!. The website features a number of contact forms, map locators and social media links. It also features a number of galleries for their selection of cars. There is a Testimonial page which users can submit through the website.

Naughton's Car Sales Ltd.

Naughton's Car Sales is located in Ballydangan, Athlone. The website was created using Joomla!. It features a list of cars available in the garage which includes a gallery and information for each car. Users can search through their whole selection, or by category. It also features a module of 3 most viewed cars. The contact information includes Maps, sliders and Opening Hours.
