I currently work in the Nuclear Theory Group of North Carolina State University. Prior to this I was a research associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory and a graduate student of the Nuclear Theory Group at Stony Brook University.
My interest in physics began during my undergraduate studies at The Cooper Union. Even though my formal training was in Mechanical Engineering, a large portion of the curricula was in physics and mathematics. By the time I was ready to graduate I decided to apply to physics graduate programs leading to my position at Stony Brook.
I am originally from Long Island, New York. Many of my co-workers find this very surprising since the departments at Stony Brook and Brookhaven have researchers from all over the world. I grew up in Albertson which is in Nassau County. Currently I reside with my wife and daughters in Cary, North Carolina.
